CardHype

The crowd and the data disagree. The distance is the trade.

CardHype records what the crowd believes about a player and what the projection says, every week, and measures the space between them. Football and basketball. Deliberately not baseball.

What is measured

projection hype the gap
0th percentile100th

Illustrative, not a reading on any player. Hype above projection means the belief is already priced in. Below it means the market has not noticed yet. Close together is not a call, and most weeks are not a call.

Status

Weekly capture began in August 2026. There is no public board yet, and nothing here is advice.

The archive is the part with a clock on it: what a crowd believed in a given week cannot be reconstructed afterwards, so it has to be written down at the time. A captured week is never rewritten — including the weeks the calls were wrong.

For site operators

If you are here from a log, this is the page the User-Agent points at. CardHype runs one automated collection per week and identifies itself as:

Honoured, including crawl-delay. A source that disallows automated access is never fetched from anywhere.
